Regarding: The Men Who Stare at Goats
The Plausible Futures Newsletter published an interview titled "The Men Who Stare in Peace: An Interview with Dr. David Leffler" due to Dr. Leffler's relationship with Major General Albert Stubblebine, US Army (Retired) a former commander of the US Army Intelligence & Security Command (INSCOM).
Stubblebine served as a consultant on Dr. Leffler's Consciousness-Based Military Defense doctoral committee. Stubblebine is discussed in the best-selling book by Jon Bonson: The Men Who Stare at Goats.
In the recently released movie of the same title the character General Hopgood (played by Stephen Lang) is based on MG Stubblebine. He is satirically portrayed as attempting to walk through walls without success. In reality, MG Stubblebine was an intelligent pioneer in the development of human resource technologies. He understood the latent potential of the human mind that warriors would eventually be trained to harness. See this article published in The Seoul Times.
Jon Ronson wrote in his book, "General Stubblebine passionately believes the First Earth Battalion doctrine that every human being alive was capable of performing supernatural miracles . ." Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the founder of Invincible Defense Technology, would argue that so-called supernatural abilities are normal to a stress-free nervous system if people are properly trained in the correct manner to harness them. While serving on my doctoral committee, MG Stubblebine helped organize Dr. Leffler's lecture series in Moscow. Thanks to him, and the late Brig. Gen. Clarence E. Beck, U.S. Army (Ret.), Dr. Leffler was able to recruit another distinguished general (retired USSR Army General-Major Leonid Shershnev, who fought in Afghanistan) as well as other military-related leaders to participate in Dr. Leffler's doctoral program in Consciousness-Based Military Defense.

A Solution for a Strong Military - An
Invincible Military for the USA:
Invincible Defense Technology
Transcending
the Politics of Conflict Resolution—Prevent an Enemy from Arising—Victory Before War
Invincible
means unconquerable.
America already has a strong military. Despite this, America still
suffers from terrorism, and military and civilian casualties. If America's
military were not only a strong military, but an invincible military, terrorism and casualties would end.
War is a
cycle. Social stress builds, and diplomats cannot solve their differences.
Groups take sides, resulting in enemies. Military strength is meant to
deter enemies. When deterrence fails, our strong military is called in to
fight. This seems to solve the problem, but stress remains, fueling future wars.
This is
the typical military model:

Invincible
Defense Technology (IDT) is a scientifically studied solution that reduces
societal stress. It helps diplomatic solutions succeed. IDT is the best
non-lethal defense system and force multiplier. Invincible Defense Technology
is the acme of skill in psychological operations (PSYOP / PSYOPS) and
psychological warfare (PSYWAR). This is because Invincible Defence Technology
prevents enemies from arising, breaking the war cycle. IDT is the ultimate
means of conducting Operations Other Than War (OOTW). Invincible Defence
Technology creates and maintains the supreme goal of the art of war—victory before war.

Qualities
of Invincible Defense Technology:
- sea-based
and/or land-based
- non-lethal
- nondestructive
- nonpartisan
- non-religious
Invincible
Defense Technology is designed be effective regardless of political circumstances.
It can also enhance the warrior's performance—please read Part
I from an academic paper published by a leading defense think tank.
We are an
advocacy group that believes America's military and civilian leaders have
the courage to implement Invincible Defense Technology as part of Operations
Other Than War (OOTW).
Curious?
See the explanation.
The main component of Invincible Defense Technology seems to have an effect on global consciousness, according to new research. Dr. Roger Nelson at Princeton University is conducting research using a worldwide network of 50 random generator computers. These random generators became less chaotic when a large group of Invincible Defense Technology experts congregated. Details.
CBS Radio broadcaster Beecher Martin interviewed author and decorated WW II P-51 fighter pilot Jerry Yellin. Jerry talks about how RADM Richard W. Schneider, USCGR (Ret.), the President of Norwich University implemented the Transcendental Meditation technique to help Norwich students become more resilient, effective and efficient leaders. The Norwich Guidon reports in an article entitled Rooks experiment with meditation that "The 4-3 platoon cadre are trained in TM and do it with the platoon, as well as by themselves when needed to. The rooks are free to meditate whenever they please as well. The platoon meditates at 0800 and between 1620 and 1630 as a platoon."

details about PTSD and the TM program. An Op-Ed by Dr. David Leffler published by Military.com also addresses how stress-related problems like PTSD could be alleviated by teaching the TM technique at US military and Veterans Administration (VA) facilities. See the article titled "Combating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder" published in Embody Magazine. These Op-Eds published in The Wall Street Journal and Fox News on this topic may also be of interest.
Israel National Radio Interview with Dr. David Leffler—The Tovia Singer Show interviewed Dr. Leffler about how Invincible Defence technology could bring peace to the Middle East. — Article by Jim Karpen published by The Review. Søren Gade, the Minister of Defence
for Denmark, recently attended a conference where film
maker David Lynch and physicist Dr. John Hagelin gave presentations
about how Invincible Defense Technology (IDT) could be deployed
in Denmark. Regarding the use of IDT, Defense Minister Gade
said, "We share the same goal: Peace and security. There
are many ways of achieving peace, I believe that the Peace
Keepers of the United Nations is a good way of doing this,
but it is important to discuss other methods of achieving
peace." |
Lieutenant
General Tobias Dai, Defense Minister of Mozambique selected

The
late Major General Franklin M. Davis, Jr. predicted
in 1973 that, while the 20th century would be known as "the
age of space exploration," the 21st century would be
"the age of the mind" with the main component of
Invincible Defense Technology having a very important place.
Major General Davis was Commandant of the U.S. Army War College
at the time. He was quoted in "The Military Meditators,"
an article in Family, the Magazine of The Army Times,
July 4, 1973. |
Lieutenant Colonel Gunter Chassé (Ret.) served 39 years in the German Air Force, mainly in the Integrated NATO-Air Defence. "[Invincible Defense] Technology is not just an idea. It is a practical method and is available immediately. It only needs to be applied. It has been shown to work many times, and its effect has been scientifically verified." Chassé was instrumental in the writing of the alternative White Paper on the New Security and Defence Policy of the Federal Republic of Germany and on the Future of the Bundeswehr. Recent article on Col. Chassé.

Major W. G. Klokow coauthored an in-depth article published in OpEdNews about Invincible Defense Technology titled A Scientifically Verified and Practically Proven Means of Ensuring Safety and Security. He is an infantry major at 6 SA Infantry Battalion (Air Assault) in the military of South Africa.
Major Klokow duties have included work as an AU/UN military observer and peacekeeper. Maj. Klokow is the first person in the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) to be awarded the new Air Assault Badge. He publishes the blog Soldier of Africa.
